Helping women accept their perfectly imperfect selves,
so they can thrive,
so they can thrive,
not just survive.
Does This Sound Like You?
Your expectations of yourself are so high that you can never reach them.
You get caught up in loops of uncertainty and self-doubt.
You’re trying to juggle multiple roles and feeling like you’re failing at all of them.
You’re exhausted from feeling overwhelmed All. The. Time.
You lack self-confidence and look to other people to validate you.
You feel alone because no-one understands what it’s like to live your life.
Your circumstances make you feel hopeless about ever having a life full of meaning and purpose.
You constantly criticise yourself but would never think such negative things about other people.
Hi, I'm Amy
I’m a researcher-turned Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto who loves to talk about hard things. I can spot patterns easily in human behaviour, which helps me move people from survival mode to finding purpose in life, using research-based techniques with a sprinkle of British humour. I want to connect with you on a deep level and talk about the things that are getting in the way of you living a meaningful life.

I use evidence-based therapy techniques to maximise the chances of our sessions being effective and helpful for you.
I make it easier than ever for you to access help, by providing 24/7 online scheduling and virtual therapy through a secure portal. No email tag or schlepping across town required.
I offer a free, no obligation 20-minute consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit. My priority is for you to get the best possible support, so if we’re not a fit for any reason, I’ll help you find someone who is.
I’m a life-long learner, so I access ongoing training and feedback to make sure that I’m up to date on the latest therapy techniques.
There are actually lots of different therapy types and techniques out there that occur while therapists and clients are talking.
I use a few different therapies depending upon the client (e.g., Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person Centred Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy), but my go-to approach is called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or ACT (spoken as the word ‘act’, not A.C.T).
